Position Overview:

Trove Cocktail Bar is looking for a talented and passionate Part-Time Mixologist - Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixology, a creative flair for crafting cocktails, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Cocktail Preparation: 

• Create and serve a variety of classic and contemporary cocktails, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.
• Utilise molecular mixology techniques to enhance the cocktail experience.
• Experiment with new ingredients and recipes to contribute to the development of the cocktail menu.

Bar Operations: 

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
• Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.

Customer Service: 

• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering any questions about the menu.
• Ensure a positive and memorable experience for all guests by delivering high-quality service.

Team Collaboration: 

• Work closely with other bar staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and products.

Compliance and Safety: 

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bartender or mixologist in a high-volume bar or restaurant setting.
• Proficient in classic and contemporary cocktail techniques.
• Knowledgeable about spirits, liqueurs, and cocktail ingredients.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Certification in mixology or a related field is a plus.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
